About the studio
A studio that only makes learning games
Deviztech was founded in Lahore in 2018 by Asad Abdullah, an educational researcher and game developer who had already spent three years building learning games for clients around the world. The studio exists for one kind of work: games that teach.
What ten years of learning games taught us
- The learning goal leads. A mechanic that doesn't serve the objective is decoration. We design the play around what the child or trainee must be able to do afterwards.
- Series beat one-offs. A curriculum is dozens of games, not one. We build reusable mechanics so the twentieth game costs a fraction of the first.
- Real devices, real networks. Learners are on old Chromebooks and school Wi-Fi. Our games are small and fast because they have to be.
- You own what you paid for. Source files go to you at the end of every project.
The record
- 334 client projects delivered since 2015, Top Rated on Upwork
- Long relationships: a K-5 curriculum game series over three years, an EdTech platform in Dubai since 2021, a children's media company since 2021
- Work for Procter & Gamble, Asafeer Education Technologies, eSpark Learning, Hydse, GLOCAL Foundation and many more
