The Ultimate K-12 Email Escape — an HTML5 escape room

A browser escape room built from scenes, puzzles and inventory — the same machinery behind guided exploration and puzzle-based learning.

The brief

A point-and-click escape room that runs in any browser: explore the room, find objects, combine them, and solve the puzzles that lead to the way out.

What we built

  • Scene sequencing — a set of connected views the player moves between.
  • Puzzle state — every object, lock and clue remembers what the player has done.
  • Progression — puzzles unlock in order, so the game guides without telling.

Why it matters for learning

This is the same machinery behind puzzle-based learning and guided exploration: a learner discovers a concept by working it out, and the game knows exactly how far they have got.
